Brene Brown is a researcher and PhD holder from Texas. Her TED talk “The Power of Vulnerability” went viral with over 40 million views. Her research of 15 years looks at courage, as a measurable, teachable and observable skillset. The workshop will look at key concepts; vulnerability intertwined with courage, armour, shame resilience, shame shields, difference between shame, guilt, humiliation & embarrassment. Also, the longitudinal study on shame-prone versus guilt-prone students, and the correlation to well-being, healthy relationships, and academic/life success.
