The “how to’s” of Inclusive Education – Dhelal Alwazir

Inclusive education is instrumrntal in creating a classroom where all students feel engaged and empowered. It allows for all students, regardless of their needs, to thrive and progress along side their typically developing peers. Teachers who practice inclusive teaching consciously work to foster learning across all differences, this means purposefuly planning for all children to be able to access the entire curriculum. In this workshop, participants will be introduced to the concepts of inclusion, its benefits and how to implement it in their schools. Partipants will also have the opportunity to plan for the inclusion of a student with a special need in their current classrooms.
