Job Description & Summary

Responsible for identifying new client opportunities, generating new leads, and winning projects, in addition to leading project planning efforts by defining and addressing client needs and requirements, ensuring the highest quality client work while inspiring, leading, and developing the team.

Full-time Partners manage and develop strategic relationships with senior-level clients with the support of senior managers and project leads. They bring deep functional knowledge, expertise, and tools to every client’s situation. They provide expert guidance and thought leadership to our clients, helping them identify opportunities, optimize operations and drive growth.

Full-time Partners oversee multiple engagements for several clients at the same time, resolving risks by leading problem-solving sessions, acting as an important source of intellectual insight on a client project, and framing business problems in a way that the teams can then execute to drive impact and value for the client.

Full-time Partners work collaboratively with the Head of the Department to further enhance the department’s resources, operational processes, and practices applied, and build the team’s capacity.

Partner key roles and responsibilities

Partner, takes initiative & delivers results Shaping the strategic direction

  • Provides feedback on project planning, and implementation process during the whole project.
  • Foresees risks and provides mitigations.

Nurtures relationships with Clients, partners & external

  • Manages project SOW and project plan, to maintain on-time and on-budget delivery.
  • Manages senior-level clients when PL / Manager requires support.
  • Attends update meetings with the client and supports client management, as required.
  • Troubleshoots issues or concerns that may hinder project progression as required.
  • Recommends potential entities/projects to approach/ pursue to leaders; facilitate an introduction to potential clients as required.
  • Provides input on the storyline and review final key deliverables.
  • Handles engagement financials, including client billing and cash collection.

Builds department’s & organizational capability.

  • Supports recruitment, conducting the final interview as required.
  • Provides feedback to MP for quarterly PDP.
  • Mentors and builds the PL & Manager’s capacity to guide and manage his/her team.
  • Attends weekly internal team meetings to provide guidance during project/s.
  • Provides high-level input on the storyline and reviews deliverables, for projects assigned as Program Leader.
  • Reviews and provides feedback to the team members on project deliverables.
  • Contributes to thought generation on project deliverables, and creation of content as required.

Fosters operational efficiency & excellence within department

  • Attends weekly internal team meetings to provide guidance.
  • Approves project expenses identified within project pricing.
  • Reports opportunities, and concerns to the MP and the CEO.
  • Contributes to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems and processes, considering leading practices and changes in the business environment.

Business development

  • Co-leads proposal creation/business development on projects.
  • Generates new leads through referrals, personal networking, and other means.
  • Converts leads into new engagements.
  • Maintains an accurate pipeline of potential engagements.
  • Monitors industry trends and developments and keep abreast of new approaches.

Problem-solving

  • Provides guidance to project teams to help them solve difficult business problems, leveraging effective techniques and industry knowledge and experience.
  • Leads problem-solving sessions to develop hypotheses, prioritize tests to prove or disprove them, synthesize findings and provide recommendations.

Skills Required

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills with senior-level clients, colleagues, and other professionals.
  • Executive decision-making skills.
  • Excellent leadership skills and experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in leading large-scale programs and projects with full P&L responsibilities
  • Demonstrates the ability for analytical and conceptual problem solving, with strong quantitative analysis.
  • Excellent business development skills, generating leads and winning projects.
  • Strong strategic thinking and business acumen.
  • High ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment, across multiple tasks and projects, and able to meet tight deadlines.
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop teams.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and with people across all levels of an organization.
  • Willingness to travel, predominantly within the Kingdom.
  • Extensive managerial experience.
  • Strong strategic and analytical mindset.

Qualifications and experience sought

  • 6+ years of experience in the consulting sector in a senior-level role, with a clear record of achievement and a proven drive for personal growth.
  • Postgraduate degree in Business, Education, Management, Engineering, or any related field with an outstanding academic record.
  • Knowledge of Saudi Educational and human capacity development landscape and ecosystem (preferred).
  • Passion for education and human capital development.
  • Network of contacts within the consulting industry.
  • Master’s degree (preferred).
