Undoubtedly, the 21st century has been characterised by relentless change. Many schools and educational systems’ mission statements aim to prepare youngsters for the life outside school so that they are successful members of their communities, who contribute to the development of our society, but with such rapid change what does it mean to be successful in the 21st century? How do we define success and what are the competences learners need in order to succeed?
This panel, presented by youth, will highlight the various aspects of the educational experience students go through, including the factors that hinder their learning, school to college transition, dealing with school closure, strategies to support their growth and what the future of schooling looks like to them.

At the same time, there is an increasingly growing dialogue and activity around the importance of ‘creativity’, and how this can be integrated in teaching and learning in schools. This panel discussion presents UK best practice in both domains, and invites delegates to examine the relationship between the two. Can the teaching and learning of arts subjects in schools contribute to enabling students to develop their own creative approaches to real world situations? Are there shared approaches in the teaching of arts education and of applied creativity? Is there an overlap of student-learnt skills? Can one domain usefully inform the other?

يعد التقييم حجرا أساسيا في العملية التعليمية ابتداءا بتقييم تعلم الطلاب لتحديد مستوياتهم وأهدافهم التعلمية ومرورا بتقييم آداء المعلمين. بالرغم من وجود العديد من الدراسات المختصة بالتقييم، إلا أنه لايزال بحاجة إلى المزيد من الاهتمام. في هذه الجلسة، ستتم مناقشة واقع التقييم عموما، وفي مادة اللغة العربية خصوصا، مع تحديد الآليات المطلوبة لرفع مستويات الطلاب، كما سيتم مناقشة التحديات التي تواجه الوسائل المستخدمة حاليا لتقييم آداء المعلمين في المملكة العربية السعودية.
تهدف الجلسة إلى مناقشة أبرز معالم التعليم الأهلي والأجنبي والدور الذي يلعبه في طرح نماذج تعليمية متميزة تساهم في الرفع من جودة القطاع وتخدم تحقيق برامج الرؤية. سيتم التطرق لبعض التحديات التي تعرقل نمو القطاع مع طرح التوصيات المقترحة بالاستناد إلى أفضل الممارسات العالمية في الدول ذات الأنظمة التعليمية المتميزة.
في ظل الظروف الحالية وعودة طلابنا إلى الصفوف فإنه من الضروري للمعلمين بناء مهارات تساعدهم في استخدام طرق تدريس وتعليم إبداعية لإنجاح العملية التعليمية ولذلك ستتناول الجلسة تعريف عن خصائص المعلم الرقمي وأدواته وكيفية الربط بين المهارات المبتكرة للقرن الواحد والعشرين والمهارات الرقمية. وسيكون هناك نقاش عن كفايات المعلم الرقمي وكيفية وصول مدارسة لتصنيفها كمدرسة رقمية وأهمية إتباع معايير تقييم التقنية في المدارس.
ستتضمن المحاضرة مفاهيم أساسية للسلامة والصحة والبيئة والأمن في المدارس و سرد لأهم الدروس المستفادة خلال فترة الجائحة وكذلك بعدها. تغطي أيضا طرق للمدارس لتطبيق الإجراءات الاحترازية ونصائح يجب الاهتمام بها في فترة العودة للمدراس بشكل حضوري. وكذلك ستتطرق لبنود هامة تؤخذ بعين الاعتبار من قبل المستثمرين عند إنشاء مباني تعليمية وغيرها.
تتناول هذه الجلسة مفاهيم متعددة تشتمل على التربية البدنية والنشاط البدني والرياضة المدرسية مع التعريج على العوامل الأساسية لتحقيق التطوير الشخصي للطلاب من خلال الرياضة وطرق التعامل مع التحديات التي تواجه المعلمين والقائمين على البرامج الرياضية في المدرسة.
Participants will get the chance to deepen their understanding about how inquiry could be used to trigger students’ curiosity and promote their critical thinking. They will be engaged in various activities that will help them learn some teaching and learning strategies that aim to help students build their critical thinking skills. Examples from different disciplines will be introduced where a range of inquiry learning approaches which promote critical thinking will be discussed.

We will then take you step-by-step through the policy creation process with a particular focus on how that can be achieved by effective management of a collaborative team.
التعريف بمفهوم الأمن النفسي في البيئة المدرسية سواء للمعلم ، الطالب ، الكادر الإداري و أولياء الأمور مع تطبيقات عملية في كيفية تطبيق مهارات الأمن النفسي
تتناول الورشة أثر الجائحة على دور المعلم باعتباره المحور الرئيسي في العملية التعليمية وكونه صاحب المعرفة، خاصة مع توسُّع دوائر ولوج الطلاب إلى الموارد المعرفية عبر نظم التعليم الرقمي، حيث يتقلص دور المعلِّم التقليدي ليفسح المجال أمام دور جديد يتطلب استعداد جاد وعاجل لرفع كفاءاته ومهاراته وتمكينه لضمان استمرارية التعليم، والمضي قدماً في ظل الظروف الراهنة. كما تتناول الورشة المحاور الرئيسية لتمكين المعلم وتدريبه من داخل غرفته الصفية وفي مدرسته ليكون متمكناً ومؤهلاً في ظل هذه المستجدات.
أثبتت العديد من الدراسات أن معظم قادة المدارس لم يتم تدريبهم أو إعدادهم الإعداد الكافي في موضوع قيادة الأزمات بشكل عام، ولم يتعاملوا من قبل مع أزمة بهذا الحجم وعلى هذا النطاق ولهذه الفترة الطويلة من قبل، وأظهرت موجات إغلاق المدارس وإعادة فتحها في جميع أنحاء العالم بوضوح مدى أهمية القيادة الجيدة للتعلّم بجميع أشكاله، فلا يمكن لقادة التعليم في هذه الأوقات القيام بعملهم ببساطة كالمعتاد. ونظرًا لأهمية القيادة وحتمية التغيير، يجب علينا التفكير في أفضل السُبل لإعداد القادة للاستجابة ليس فقط للأزمة الحالية إنما إعدادهم للقيادة بفعالية في الأوقات الطارئة والأزمات المختلفة التي قد تظهر لا سمح الله.
لذا جاءت هذه الورشة استجابة للحاجة الملّحة في إعداد القادة لقيادة الأزمات بفعالية من خلال تسليط الضوء على الأسئلة الآتية:
- لماذا الحاجة إلى القيادة الفاعلة أثناء الأزمات؟
- كيف أقود الأزمة بفعالية؟
- ماذا أحتاج لقيادة الأزمات؟
ستسلط هذه الورشة الضوء على الأسس النفسية التي يقوم عليها النشاط الموسيقي لدى الأطفال. كما سنناقش أبعاد تنمية المهارات الموسيقية التي تُعنى بفوائد هذا المجال على الطفل وعلى سلوكه بصفة خاصة. وسنعرض من خلال الورشة أنواعا من الأنشطة التي يمكن ممارستها في هذا المجال.
